Proven, true, All Around Open, Youth, or Amateur horse. This mare excels at showing multiple events and is a loping machine. She is competitive enough for an open rider, but steady enough to carry a youth walk/trot rider. Country has a gentle jog, nice extended jog and beautiful long trot. Her lope is a joy to ride and she rounds up automatically. Country is an extremely well built 16 hand mare with no vices. She loads, lunges, is good for farrier, bathes, etc. Sweet disposition and is super affectionate.
Country is sound with or without shoes, and without injections or joint supplements. Dalton is an awesome horse. I bought him 3 yrs ago for a husband trail horse and possible dressage mount. My husband isn't riding and I have too many, so I am looking for someone to love and cherish him as he should be. He has been trail ridden and packed elk but he could be a wonderful English or Western dressage horse. Dalton comes into the bridle and rounds up with very little effort and training. He has a big beautiful trot and an incredible, ride it all day, canter. I haven't tried jumping him, but this uphill, forward mover could probably do that too.
He is quiet, willing and a true gentle spirit. He lunges, ties, picks up feet, bathes, trailers etc. Totally sound barefoot or shod; easy keeper. I really can't say enough wonderful things about this horse. I am negotiable to the RIGHT home, will not sell him to the wrong home. He is a joy to have around.
